LOVE IS A NON-REAL ENTITY, AND LIKE ALL IMAGINARY PHENOMENA, IT IS SUBJECTIVE TO THE PERSON WHO IS FEELING IT. IF I MADE YOU BELIEVE THAT THE OBJECT OF YOUR AFFECTION WAS CHEATING ON YOU, THEN LOVE WILL DISAPPEAR IN AN INSTANT. IT DOES EXIST BUT IT IS ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

"love" word is a waste...

Sincerity + Comprehension + Perseverance + Esteem

big illusion...i really disagree with you...love is everything..it's expressed subconsciously when its pure...its lifes most important value-moral..everything begins from love..every creation...anything inspiring,everything healthy..

well, i think that 'love' being an 'illusion' is true when it comes to ppl u've met along the way lyk ur bfs/gfs and maybe friends...ok watever cos i dont know muc bout love

until the feeling control them.
But we love to say LOVE word in a day to each other..right??

Empty, in the post "What is the Good?" you wrote "when you are in love. . ." Here you say you do not believe in love, and call it an illusion. Are you going through a break-up? I infer this from your two posts. The problem with young romantic love (one kind of love) is that it is fickle. It's pretends to be "forever," yet is contigent on a set of conditions being met, which destroys or diminishes that love in advance. The appearance versus reality debate comes to the fore after this kind of love fades. Yet when you love and lose that love, does that it mean you didn't love at all? Not so, in my experience. Why should one believe "in" Love? For some kind of reward, to feel exhilirated? Shouldn't one just love regardless? Isn't love it's own reward? Isn't it better to love than to be loved? If not, then was it even love? Or was it simply "consensual desire?" Whenever I demanded, or put expectations on love, I got burned. Romantic love is intoxicating---and I will be blunt; there is nothing more addictive in this world than another human being. Real love is mysterious; it's a gift, not a right. What if a loveless world is the illusion?
